The Logos Hope

Well...before Logos Hope came to KK..for the first time..after it purchased in 2004..MV Doulus (if i'm not mistaken) came to KK in year 2009 which the ship already been sold to Singaporean interest in the same year......unfortunately i do not have time to visit that ship because of my PMR examination....since my SPM is over and the rest of my family also didn't do nothing this school holiday...Soo...i suggest to my mom to take us to visit that very first ship sailed to South China Sea....

Let me tell you a bit one of their objective that i've learned from that visit....the ship especially the crew members want to bring knowledge, help and hope to all people that they visit(that's why the name is "Logos Hope")....well they to this by sharing their beliefs and religious to people who visit...and also most importantly they supply education to people by selling books inside it...another information, this ship is set their first sailed in 2004 at Denmark......

Okay the part how we visit.......Me and the rest of family member..visited the ship on December, 3 2011....in the evening.....as we arrived at KK port..we have to park our car outside the port and walked in by following the line until we've met a Chinese guy..from China...and asking how many adults among us...So my mom said "7!"...so that guy said.."it's 7 ringgit"...so each adult cost RM1 per and the kids free...after that we travel by bus to Logos Hope....
Thereafter...we been welcomed by a adorable women named Desiree Farris from South Africa......asking if we need any help...then the crew member escort us to inside...told us to sit at their red bench to hear the brief from Helen about the ship...After the briefing...they allow us to visit the ship...during the visit..there is the moment where i felt seasick...to prevent from spoiling the visit..i'm tried to fight it...and luckily excited help me...

We bought a book, wrist band, book and book...haha......because the book they sold is cheap compare the book sold in Times...well I won't miss this opportunity to buy my favourite book...we continued our visit by passing through a story telling about a boy who was used his money for gamble until he regret it because lose and felt sorry for his father for using the money unwisely...after that we've a chance to hear a talked about HIV since it's still HIV international day....Finally, it's end of visit when we say goodbye to Desiree Farris...which my mom most like her hair....

Nexus Resort

The last time i went here when i was 5 years old....when came to this place i don't remember anything that i've been visit here before...but as we check in and went down to see the swimming pool....i saw a little image of my brother, sister and me when i saw that swimming pool.....my mom stressed that me and my sibling been playing in this pool 12 years ago...haha..that too long....that time i talked to myself..."how on earth i live at KK, never visit this place again?"...pfft..but at least i'm remember how the  beach look a like....

Well...as we came here.....my sibling directly suit up to swimming suit because they too excited saw that pool which too small to me...moreover this is their first time came here for Azeem and Zaeem....urrmmmm...how about the room? well room look very nice..but i hated the air-cond....it's sucks...i can't sleep that night....until  i'm strip down and sleep because it is too toasty (forget to bring short trousers) ....

By the way......at night..we spend our dinner at the resort restaurant...and the food was nice...but there was some food that i think was from a food can that been bought from the market...but still it's nice....
And i realize that there were many Korean and Japanese people here...i think these was the cheap resort..because of their location far way from the city center..

The funny thing that happen in these resort was...when my mom i was given four coupon of drink at the bar....
Sooo...my mom won't miss the opportunity to use the coupon....when we went at the bar at the lobby nearer....they only gave ginger juice....for four glass within four coupon...i thought we can used the coupon for order an orange juice or something...well it's "rezeki" so just drink it..even it is a ginger..until it cause a gas in my stomach...haizzz damn ginger...

SpM over! High School over!

Finally all my tribulations that i faced for the past 10 years..since primary 1until form 5 by taking UPSR, PMR and SPM is over...huh~~~gonna miss study at school..uniform...rule...my schooling hair style.....Wow...can't believe it is over....

Well of course this 4 month holiday..not gonna waste it....
I've planning many activity that came to my mind....arhhh~~~taking license? trip? working? um...memorize surah2x..what else....but most importantly i've to take license this month so i can drive next year.....
Okay directly after finished our last paper Biology...my mom take me and my sibling to Karamunsing....for shopping...then i bought something that I never buy before...because to me it is not so important but now it is important.....you know i bought a PS3 game cost RM198, Assassin Creed Revelation.... until i ran out of money in wallet....there after i bought an hair dye....colour dark brown..since i don't go to school next year...so i intend to dye my since my hair full of white bloody hair which make me old to people i've met...

SOOOO,,, i would to thank all my teacher!!for teaching me since i'm 7 years old until 17 years old....including my mom...who also a teacher...been teaching me during my primary 2 and 3 at Sk Sandau...Thank you!....hopefully i can get satisfied result....Allah blessed u all...

5 Stunning Sea Monster Myths in the World

#1 Loch Ness Monster
This sea monster allegedly lives in the lake called Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. Although the scientific community considers this story a “modern day myth” or simply a hoax, there are a lot of believers around the world, and there are a lot of people who brought authentic proof of the Loch Ness monster. These proofs consist of photographic material and sonar readings, but the living status of the creature remains unconfirmed.
The Loch Ness monster was first reported by Alex Campbell on 2 May 1933. Campbell was a water bailiff during those times, and a part-time journalist for the Inverness Courier. However, we wasn’t sure that he spotted something in the water, but on 4 August 1933, he published an article which said that a Londoner named George Spicer, and his wife had sighted “the nearest approach to a dragon or pre-historic animal that I have ever seen in my life”.

#2 Leviathan
This sea monster is mentioned in the Bible in five places, and nowadays the word represents any enormous sea creature. In the Old Testament, the Leviathan is a fleeing serpent which lives in the sea, while in the novel “Moby Dick”, the Leviathan is a great whale.
The myth of the Leviathan sea monster was explained by a French rabbi, Rashi, who said that “God created a male and female Leviathan, then killed the female and salted it for the righteous, for if the Leviathans were to procreate the world could not stand before them.”

#3 Mermaids
In many mythologies around the world, the mermaids were drowning men who were trying to rescue them as they didn’t know what they were getting themselves into. Also, it is said that the mermaids were taking men into underwater kingdoms (probably to procreate). A long time ago, people believed that these sea monsters were water fairies or animals that could transform themselves from seals or other sea creatures into humans.
The history shows that mermaids were first mentioned in Assyria ca. 1000 BC, then they showed up in the “Arabian Nights” story, and even in the British folklore where these creatures were sized up to 2000 feet. Let’s not forget the Warsaw Mermaid which is the symbol of Polish biggest and capital city, Warsaw.

#4 Kraken
The Kraken is a mythological sea monster which was supposed to live in the waters between Norway and Iceland. It seems like these gargantuan sea creatures were attacking ships and they didn’t leave anyone alive. However, this sea monster myth is based on true stories as the Kraken resembles a real giant squid which can grow up to 60 feet in length.
Even if the giant squid lives at great depths, recently there were many reports of such creatures attacking smaller ships using their gigantic tentacles. The work Kraken comes from the Scandinavian word, krake, which describes a twisted, unhealthy animal. Also, in German, krake, means octopus, but it can be also referred to the mythological Kraken.

#5 The Hydra
The last but not the least is the Lernaean Hydra which can be found in the Greek mythology as one of the Twelve Labors of Heracles. The Greek hero received the task of killing the sea creature from the lake of Lerna in Argolid – the Hydra.
According to a description from Gaius Julius Hyginus, a Latin author, “this monster was so poisonous that she killed men with her breath, and if anyone passed by when she was sleeping, he breathed her tracks and died in the greatest torment.”
Also, the myth says that this sea monster had numerous heads, actually it possessed “more heads than the vase-painters could paint” and whoever encountered it, was killed almost instantaneously. However, Heracles (with a little help from his nephew, Iolaus) managed to kill the Hydra which was the guardian of an entrance to the Underworld.

5 Creepy Beach in the World

For the most people beach is a place to relax, especially when visited as part or a holiday. Beach...it's a place to forget the worries of everyday life. So it seems surprising that on some of the beach around the world have the creepy sculpture on theirs beach. So, this is the 5 creepy beach.....

1. Hamigot Beach, Korea (Hand of Harmony)
In my opinion, there is also frightening about
this hand...where it seems like  there are people
who cursed because of black history at Pohang, Korea.
2. Scheveningen Beach, Netherlands (Sperm Whale)

This monster is made from wood, aluminum, and polyester.
This gigantic state of the art was made
by artist Zephyr (alias of Dirk Claesen)
 and is meant to promote
the collection of the museum Muzee Scheveningen.
3. Liverpool, England (Another Place)

A beach in Liverpool is home
to dozens of stationary, zombie-like statues,
all facing out to sea in various locations.
4. Barcelona, Spain (A Room Where it Always Rain)

This is possibly the creepiest piece of beach art on earth
and consists of 5 stone weebles trapped
in a cage on a strip of sand in Barcelona.
The closer you get,
the scarier it becomes,
until you finally see their pained faces and drop your ice-cream.
5. Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, England (Couple)

Just how many panicked emergency calls have been made due
to this bizarre statue causing people
to believe two giants are about to be smashed to death by waves is unknown.
What we do know is that,
under the right circumstances,
this piece of art could easily cause mild palpitations and extreme confusion.

Hand of Harmony

The Hand of Harmony is located at Homigot Beach, Pohang, South Korea. Homigot means "village on a tiger's tale" which is located to the east of urban Pohang in Daebo-myeon. Homigot is a unique place to visit because Homigot is the place where the sunrise can be first seen all around Korea. Therefore, Homigot is the main venue of the Homigot Sunrise Festival to celebrate New Year in Korea. The celebration is to witness the first sun of the year rise between the fingers of this sculpture (hand of harmony). The festival begins on the eve of December 31, and ends on January 1. Various programme are prepared to make all-nights festival entertaining until early morning.

The hands were constructed in 1999 to symbolize continuing efforts of all Korean citizens to pursue a better quality of life. There are two hand, the left hand stands on the land, whereas the right hand stands in the ocean water. These sculpture are made of bronze and granite. Each year, tourists visiting Homigot on New Year's release more than ten thousand balloons containing theirs wishes for the coming year.

The Calculus Controversy

From the Additional Mathematics Form 5 textbook...page 76...there is an interesting topic that i want to share ....about the controversy of calculus between Isaac Newton and Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz....there has been  arguing about who discovered calculus first?Newton or Leibniz???
from question given from the textbook....they ask our opinion about who do we think deserves the title of "Inventor of Calculus"....SO...

Sir Isaac Newton and Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz are considered the inventors of calculus. Calculus is mostly the study of infinity and the infinitesimal (small without bound; see Two Equals One?). And these two people certainly made great discoveries to advance this field of mathematics. But it must be said that they had many predecessors, like Archimedes and Euclid who dealt with the infinite and infinitesimal in very natural ways.
Besides, many of the ideas of these two concepts were being discussed and studied in the years before Newton and Leibniz worked on them. Pierre de Fermat and Isaac Barrow made important discoveries before Newton and Leibniz. Newton began creating calculus around 1664-1666, but did not publish. Some people were aware of what he was doing, through letters and papers which Newton showed to people. He did not publish until 1687 and later. Leibniz first studied calculus around 1672-1676, and published in 1684 and 1686. The ideas were similar, but the notation was different. And many of the lesser discoveries were different. Nowadays, our calculus notation is mostly that of Leibniz.
In the late 1690's British scientists began accusing Leibniz of having plagiarized(ciplak) Newton's great discovery. Nowadays, it seems unlikely that Leibniz knew very much about what Newton had discovered; and his discoveries would seem to be mostly original. Of course, neither Newton's nor Leibniz' discoveries were totally original. In 1711, Leibniz appealed to the Royal Society of London, of which he was a member and Newton was President, to clear up these accusations. In public, Newton pretended to have nothing to do with the scandal, remaining silent about it. But, it seems that he secretly was the motivating force behind the accusations.
The Royal Society appointed a commission, and essentially found Leibniz guilty of plagiarism.
By taking sides against Leibniz, Newton and his followers refused to use Leibniz' superior notation. Newton founded astrodynamics, based largely on calculus, with which he mostly solved the motions of the planets. After Newton, British mathematics went into a decline, while German mathematics (and the mathematics of other countries) prospered.Today, Newton and Leibniz are considered the co-inventors of calculus. What is important to keep in perspective is that no matter who actually discovered calculus first, both Newton and Leibniz made great contributions to the advancement of mathematical processes, and both deserve credit for that.
